Cesc Fabregas believes Raheem Sterling can exploit Italy for England in Euro 2020 final
Former Arsenal, Chelsea, and Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas believes that Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling can be the key to England winning Euro 2020 against Italy on Sunday.
England take on the Italians in the showpiece final at Wembley on Sunday evening. The Three Lions are looking to win a first trophy in 55 years. But they know a stern Italy away. Roberto Mancini’s men are yet to lose a game this tournament.

But, then again, England haven’t lost either. And former Premier League superstar Fabregas believes Sterling can be the key for the Three Lions.
Fabregas tips Sterling
Sterling has been outstanding throughout the Euros and is on course to win player of the tournament. Indeed, an England win would surely secure him the mantle.
And Fabregas, writing in his column for the , belives the Manchester City star can exploit an ageing Italian defence.
“It is not easy because Italy press and press and press. But if you handle that pressure and then play around them a little bit then they are not the fastest in midfield and you can create a chance with a dribble or a one-two, Fabregas .
“Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, they love going on the front foot but they hate balls behind them and that’s why I think Raheem Sterling will be so, so important once again with his speed. Especially if he can go in between the full-back and the centre-back on the Chiellini side. He can have a lot of joy.”
Sterling has three goals and an assist to his name already. Indeed, he was on hand to tap in his fourth against Denmark, only for Simon Kjaer to beat him to it and fire into an empty net.
England, then, will be hoping for more of the same from their surprise talisman come Sunday evening.
