Celtic signing goalkeeper would be an enormous kick in the teeth for Rangers
Celtic are expected to be busy in the summer’s transfer window with plenty of first-team stars are expected to leave the Hoops. But one reported transfer target will leave Rangers bitterly disappointed.
that Kelly, 23, can leave Scottish Premiership side Livingston for a bargain £50,000, and that has interested in Celtic – despite the goalkeeper spending 12 years at Rangers.
Plenty of other clubs are interested, including Championship trio Ipswich Town, Wigan Athletic and Reading. Barnsley, who have gained promotion from League One to the Championship are also keen.
Hamburg, who signed David Bates from Rangers last summer, are said to be interested as they close in on promotion back to the top tier of German football. Kelly has a year remaining on his contract at the Tony Macaroni Stadium.

Kelly – who first joined Rangers at just 10 years of age and left last summer aged 22 – has been in sensational form this season. Making 41 appearances this term, he has conceded just 42 goals and kept 17 clean sheets.
That included a clean sheet against Celtic last time out, and may have tempted The Hoops into luring Kelly to Parkhead. But if they do sign the Scotland youth international, that will surely act as a kick in the teeth for Rangers.
The Gers nurtured and produced the in-form goalkeeper from 2006 to now. The goalkeeper Kelly is now, is because of Rangers. To have that playing against you, for Old Firm rivals Celtic, would be enormously frustrating.
Kelly never made an appearance for Rangers, and that may frustrate supporters now given his excellent form. But it would be 10 times worse if he was to sign for the enemy.
