Motherwell want to take either Lewis Morgan or Mikey Johnston on loan for the 2019/20 campaign as part of the David Turnbull deal,
The 19-year-old is set to seal a move to Celtic Park in the coming days after a £3 million bid was accepted by the Scottish Premiership club.
Morgan went to Sunderland on loan last season, netting two goals and registering four assists in 22 appearances.
The versatile winger doesn’t seem to be part of Neil Lennon’s plans next season and looks set to leave on loan once again.

Johnston is another wide player who looks set to fall down the pecking order following Turnbull’s arrival at Celtic.
He featured in 27 games for the Hoops last season but the chance to play frequent games from the start would be perfect for his development.
Negotiations are thought to be taking place during the next 24 hours and it remains to be seen who Stephen Robinson will opt to take.
TBR Verdict
There is a case to be said that Motherwell could do with both Johnston and Morgan in exchange for Turnbull.
If it comes down to choosing just one you would fancy them to plump for Morgan over Johnston.

The winger was in decent form during his loan spell in League One with Sunderland and the time spent in England might make him a more polished option than Johnston.
Academy graduate Johnston featured in several games for Celtic but only started 11 times.
Motherwell will need reinforcements following Turnbull’s departure and the addition of either Morgan or Johnston would be most welcomed.
