Celtic man Kundai Benyu likes Rangers star’s Instagram post after Old Firm win

Glen Kamara’s performance against Celtic on Sunday afternoon was arguably his best in a Rangers shirt, utterly dominating the likes of Scott Brown and Tom Rogic – and it appears a Celtic player was impressed too.

Kamara, 23, dictated the tempo of play in the middle of the park, keeping things ticking over with some excellent passing but also breaking up Celtic’s attacking play when needed.

The former Arsenal star has transformed Rangers after joining the club from Dundee in January, quickly becoming one of Steven Gerrard’s best signings for the Gers since the Liverpool legend joined last summer.

Kamara posted on Instagram after the match as his side ran out 2-0 winners. Somewhat surprisingly, Celtic outcast Kundai Benyu liked the post which shows Kamara leaving Celtic skipper Brown on the deck.

TBR’s view

It is clear that Benyu’s career at Celtic is already over. The 21-year-old is currently on loan at Swedish side Helsingborg until the January transfer window, but is already struggling.

He has made five appearances for the Swedes, but been left out for the last two matches. The two-time Zimbabwe international has only played four times for Celtic’s first team.

With his contract expiring in 2021, whoever is in charge at the end of his loan spell in Sweden has got to offload him – and his decision to like Kamara’s post, which is mocking Brown, shows his lack of respect for Celtic.
