European football is so vital for Celtic and they ensured that they will be in the group stage of the Europa League this season with a comfortable 6-1 aggregate victory over AIK.
That was sealed by a 4-1 stroll away from home – a rare easy away day on the continent for the Bhoys – last night to book their place.
It’s a great way to go into this weekend’s crunch clash against bitter rivals Rangers, who also booked their place in the group stage.
But Neil Lennon’s side will only focus on themselves – as will the fans – and they were elated with the performance of Ryan Christie last night.

They want to see more of the same from Christie, who didn’t get on the scoresheet last night but is more than capable of causing the Gers problems at the weekend.
He turned his Celtic career around last season and is showing no signs of letting up this time around. One tipped him early to be player of the year and a crucial contribution against Rangers would be a step in the right direction on that score.
