Celtic kept up the pressure on Rangers with a 3-0 win over Hibernian at Celtic Park this afternoon, with David Turnbull catching the eye of supporters.
Goals from Callum McGregor, Albian Ajeti and Mohamed Elyounoussi fired the Hoops to a resounding victory on a comfortable afternoon.
Neil Lennon’s men are just a point behind fierce rivals Celtic, having played a game less than the Gers.
Turnbull was introduced at half-time by boss Neil Lennon and on this showing, it won’t be long before he earns a Celtic start.

The midfielder was in fine form, claiming an assist for Elyounoussi’s goal and largely looked impressive throughout.
Turnbull checked in from Motherwell in August, costing £3.25 million and had now made three appearances for the Hoops in the Premiership.
At 21 there is plenty of time for Turnbull to develop at Celtic Park and supporters will watch his progress with intrigue.
He replaced Ryan Christie at half-time and many fans were simply in awe of the performance he put in following his introduction.
Here is a selection of Tweets from Celtic supporters as David Turnbull puts in a classy performance.
Got to feel for Turnbull. Fair enough if the midfield was flying but it’s been absolutely shocking. Give the boy a chance

Very happy with that performance. Frimpong phenomenal. Brown back to his old self. Turnbull looks the real deal. Taylor put in a great shift. Bitton solid. Callum brilliant as per. I could go on. This is more like it Celtic. Onwards and upwards.
