Celtic fans react on Twitter to Jordan Rhodes interest reports
A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on that the Hoops are interested in taking Jordan Rhodes on loan in January.
The upcoming window could be crucial for the Bhoys. Neil Lennon’s men are looking to battle on three fronts during the second-half of the campaign.

And it would be no surprise if the Celtic boss’ priority was signing a new striker. Odsonne Edouard has been sensational again this term, but there are questions about the depth in the squad.
that Rhodes is on Celtic’s radar. It has been reported that Sheffield Wednesday are looking to sign another striker on loan, and that could open the door for the 29-year-old to move on.

But the suggestion that he could come to Parkhead has not gone down well.
There are some Celtic fans who believe that he could be a good signing. Rhodes boasts an outstanding record during his career, with well over 200 goals. However, those supporters seem to be in the minority.
Rhodes – who signed for Wednesday in a £10 million move in 2017 (via ) – has been poor since leaving Blackburn Rovers in 2016. He has scored 20 league goals in 105 games since moving on from Ewood Park.
And a number of supporters have suggested that he would be an extremely poor addition. Several have implored Lennon to avoid making a move for the Scotland international next month.
Here is what some of the supporters made of the reports…
If we’re not going to sign a permanent striker, then Jordan Rhodes on loan in Jan is a no-brainer. He’s a poacher, the type we need.

He is rubbish

The last player we need. I see your point, but there are far far better players out there who can do his job and more, for a fraction of the price with a sell on fee included.

I hope not he’s not good enough he got a hatrick last week but before that been rubbish for a long time

Wouldn’t take Rhodes at all. Good a few years ago but not now for me.
— Anton McMahon (@AntonMcMahon)
Thought on Jordan Rhodes in January? Five years ago it’d have been a no brainer. Now, not so much.
— Kieran Caw (@Kieran_Celtic)
He’s currently better than anything we have other than our starting striker tbf

The guy plays back up to steven fletcher. Would be an embarrassing signing if true?
