Celtic fans react on Twitter to Daniel Podence interest reports
Celtic’s hopes of signing Daniel Podence may already be over, with many of the Hoops fans on social media believing that it is now highly unlikely that they will be able to land the Wolves man this summer.
that the Bhoys were interested in signing the winger on loan for next season.

It was suggested that several teams have enquired about signing Podence, and Celtic had been at the front of the queue for his signature.
However, that it was not yet clear what Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans would be for the £17 million signing.

And just a day after the reports emerged, it now appears that a move to Parkhead is looking incredibly unlikely.
Podence marked his first Premier League start for Wolves with an outstanding performance as Nuno’s men thrashed Everton 3-0 at Molineux.
‘Best player on the park’
He won a penalty and came close to scoring for the high-flyers.
Unsurprisingly therefore, many Celtic fans believe that their hopes of signing Podence have been dashed before they had really begun to grow.
Several suggested that the Podence was fantastic against Everton. And if there is any chance, they would love to see him lining up for Neil Lennon’s men next season.
But there is a clear sense of pessimism amongst the Celtic fans.
Here is how they have reacted to the reports…

He’s a cracking player from the 3 games I’ve seen him in, Gary Neville called it himself, He is a similar player to Eden Hazard (in terms of playstyle)
