Scottish Premiership champions Celtic were held to a 1-1 draw at Kilmarnock yesterday as Neil Lennon’s men flattered to deceive.
Chris Burke equalised from the penalty spot for the hosts after Ryan Christie had opened the scoring early doors.
It leaves the Hoops with lots of work to do and boss Lennon won’t have been happy with the sub-standard performance from his players.
Christie’s goal was superb, however, and it certainly got supporters talking on Twitter.
The 25-year-old was inspired yesterday afternoon and basically picked up where he left off last season.

Christie was inspirational during 2019/20, scoring 19 goals and registering 16 assists in a tremendous campaign.
Yesterday he showed his worth at dead-ball situations with a scrumptious free-kick that fired Celtic into a lead.
The midfielder looks like he could be an important player for Celtic this season as the Hoops go in search of title number 10 in succession.
Christie’s goal was delightful and after the game supporters were talking about it on social media.
Plenty of Hoops fans are happy with Christie and what he brings to the team, with supporters quick to praise him following his goal yesterday.
Here is a selection of tweets from Celtic fans on Christie’s efforts yesterday.
Ryan Christie has been excellent by the way.
Don’t let it go unnoticed.
