Mohamed Elyounoussi popped up in stoppage time to spare Celtic’s blushes against Riga last night, with his goal securing a 1-0 win over the minnows.
The Hoops left it desperately late and with the game heading to extra-time, the Norway international fired home to see Celtic through.
Elyounoussi found himself on the bench once again for the tie, with boss Neil Lennon preferring other options instead.
The man on-loan from Premier League outfit Southampton did his chances of a start at the weekend no harm, however.
It would seem that Celtic supporters are keen to see the 26-year-old start more frequently than he is at the moment.

Celtic added the man with 25 caps for his country back to their ranks after a solid loan stint during 2019/20.
He netted seven goals and claimed six assists last season, prompting the Hoops to take him back.
This season, however, he has found himself on the bench for the last few games and he’d have hoped for more football at Celtic Park.
His goal last night was his third of the campaign, with all of his strikes coming in European ties.
Celtic fans are in no doubts as to whether he should be starting or not and here is what they were saying on Twitter after the game.
Elyounoussi is class, only let down by the fact Lennon doesn’t know how to use him properly

Elyounoussi has to start. Simple as that.

Elyounoussi needs to be starting too good of a player.
