Celtic fans rave about homegrown hero Mikey Johnston

Celtic starlet Mikey Johnston scored yet again in the 4-1 win over Ross County.

The Bhoys stormed to victory against Ross with Johnston rounding off the scoring. He had only just come off the bench but he added Celtic’s fourth to put the game beyond any doubt.

This came after he marked his return from injury with a goal in midweek. The 20-year-old has been out for a while but he returned and netted in the 3-1 win over Rennes.

Days later, he was back on the scoresheet in the Scottish Premiership. Johnston, who has risen through the ranks at Celtic, now has five goals in 12 appearances this season.

Johnston is a highly-regarded young player at Parkhead and there are high hopes that he can reach the top of the game. The Scotland U21 wonderkid operates in any of the attacking positions and he is a natural goalscorer.

After once again proving his goalscoring exploits for Celtic against Ross, fans took to Twitter to praise Johnston. Here are some tweets about the youngster’s cameo.
