Celtic fans disgruntled with John Kennedy decision during Rangers draw

Celtic claimed a share of the spoils from the latest Old Firm derby and were good value during the 1-1 draw.

Mohamed Elyounoussi fired the Hoops into the lead before Rangers hit back through Alfredo Morelos – who scored his first goal in an Old Firm derby clash.

One thing that Celtic fans did deem an aberration by interim boss John Kennedy was his decision to withdraw David Turnbull.

The Scotland international was withdrawn for James Forrest with around 15 minutes left to play – much to the dismay of supporters.

Turnbull did pretty well during the contest and plenty of the fan base felt Ryan Christie would have been a more suitable player to withdraw.

Kennedy is still getting to grips with his squad and with the season now over as far as the title is concerned, he will perhaps experiment somewhat.

Supporters didn’t appreciate him withdrawing the 23-year-old, however, and took to Twitter to mention their displeasure.

Here is what Celtic fans made of the decision to take Turnbull off during the contest.
