Celtic are apparently clo﷽sing in on a permanent deal to buy on-loan defender Cameron Carter-Vickers in the summer.
Carter-Vickers is on loan from Tottenham and scored the winner in the huge title clas✨h with Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
The say that the deal𝐆 could top £10 million, even though they have a £6 million option in the deal.
There is Premier League inওterest in the defender, in the shape of Burnley, Wolves and Leicester City.
The former are firmly in a relegation fight, while 🍸there are no guarantꦛees Wolves or Brendan Rodgers’ men will be in Europe at all next season.
On the other hand, Celtic look almost sure to be in ꦡthe Champions League n𓆉ext term and that is apparently playing a big part in Carter-Vickers’ thinking.
His camp apparently feel that he could go to the next level at European football’s top table if Celtic a💛re the ones who b♛uy him.
As you can see, Carter-Vic🀅kers earned himself high praise from Chris Sutton after Sunday’s victory, which continued his outstanding season.
