Celtic ask about signing £13m Manchester United star with move depending on Arsenal’s own business

Celtic are looking at what Arsenal do in the next few days as they consider a move for Manchester United defender, Tyrell Malacia, TBR Football sources can confirm.

In what 𝄹could be a busy weekend for the whole of Europe as the𝓰 window edges towards a Monday close, Celtic are one of the clubs hoping to get involved in the business.

Celtic are hoping to sign Kieran Tierney but there is a feeling that for now🌜, Tierney will remain at Arsenal before movi🔜ng to the Bhoys in the summer.

And because ✨of tha𝓰t, Celtic are now considering a move for United left-back, Malacia.

Celtic ask about signing Man United’s Tyrell Malacia

TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey can con💜firm that sources indicate that Celtic have indeed made an enquiry about signing Tyrell Malacia from United.

The signing is not currently featuring for United under Ruben Amorim and could be ope♋n to a move to get first-team football.

However, much like Celtic are dependant on t♋he situation with Kieran Tierney, so too are they depending on what happens with Ars♉enal and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

TBR can confirm that should Zinchenko stay put, then that is more likely to le🌊ad to Tierney being allowed out this month, rather than in the summer.

As with many January deals, Malacia must sit tight and wait for the dominoes to fall it seꦐems.

Malacia has interest abroad

As well as Celtic beꦬing keen on Tyrell Malacia, the young full-back al✅so has plenty of admirers on the continent.

Real Betis are keen on signing Malacia themselves afte🌺r initially landing Anthony from United already.

With just days of the window remaining, it looks like clubs are preparing to do late deals and potential business for players like Malacia and others could go t💙o the wire.
