Tony Cascarino backs relegated manager to succeed Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta

Tony Cascarino has made a sensational claim that Sam Allardyce could do a job for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta currently sees his team sat bottom of the Premier League after losing all three of their games so far.

With that in mi𒁏nd,🐈 the Gunners boss finds himself under pressure. Indeed, a defeat to Norwich when football returns could see the axe fall on the Spaniard.

Cascarino was a guest on this morning. He believes that the Gunners could benefit from the experienced manager at the helm, de🤪spite him overseeing relegation with West Brom last season.

Allardyce couldn’t prevent the Baggies from dropping into the Championship. Follow𓂃ing his first relegation as a manager, the former England boss stepped down and passed the baton on.

Cascarino thinks Arsenal could do a lot worse than ap🎶point the𝐆 vastly seasoned manager.

: “Iꦗ think we stereotype certain managers who couldn’t do a job. We’ve kind of gone to the coaching ♉mindset now.

“If you look at 🎃what he did for West Brom, okay they went down, but look at what he did for them defensively.

“He’d make Arsenal way better. ꩵI think Sam would undoubtedly do a better job than Arteta is doing 🎐at the moment.

Cascarino might have a point but Big Sam won’t get the Arsenal job

Never in a million years will the Gunners turn to🎉 Allardyce should they decide to part with Arteta. He might be a proven manager, but after relegation with West Brom, he doesn’t have a prayer of🅘 getting an Emirates Stadium gig.

Edu w🃏ill likely turn to a manager who is still in his infancy, despite having experience in a top league. Even s✅omebody like Sean Dyche would likely be ahead of Allardyce in the pecking order.

Arsenal arguablꦛy need change. Arteta has been through bad periods before and rescued himself. After spending millions in the summer though, he might not be quite so lucky this time around.
