Cardiff fans wowed by performance of on-loan Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo

On-loan Liverpool star Sheyi Ojo continued his strong form on Tuesday with another goal this season – and some Cardiff City fans on Twitter were delighted with his performance.

The Reds attacker joined Championship side Cardiff in the summer on a season-long loan and he’s enjoying a great spell with the Welsh club.

The 23-year-old scored the opener in Cardiff’s 2-1 away win at Rotherham yesterday in the Championship.

Ojo has played 13 first-team games for Liverpool since breaking through from the academy, but has spent most of his time out on loan from Anfield.

The English attacker joined Cardiff at the beginning of the 2020/21 campaign and he’s scored five goals in 29 games so far, as well as set up six assists.

He’s a versatile forward that has spent most of his career as a skilful wide player, but was used more centrally against Rotherham and it’s a position he’s starting to play more during his loan spell.

A selection of Cardiff supporters on social media were left waxing lyrical about Ojo after his latest display.

There are plenty who are desperate to see the attacker signed on a permanent basis from Liverpool, but as it stands he will return to Merseyside from his loan at the end of the season.
