Caoimhin Kelleher says the Liverpool squad really miss ‘brilliant’ man
Caoimhin Kelleher has been very vocal about his situation at Liverpool in recent days.
The Irishman has made it clear that he’s not happy with the minutes he’s getting at Anfield, and he’s seemingly sending a clear message to Arne Slot.
Slot has done brilliantly since coming in at Liverpool, but he’s had big shoes to fill after replacing Jurgen Klopp.
Speaking to RTE, Kelleher has been discussing Klopp’s departure from Liverpool, and he says that every player at Anfield misses the German.

Liverpool’s players miss Jurgen Klopp
Kelleher spoke about the ‘brilliant’ manager.
“Jurgen Klopp said that if there’s a better goalkeeper in Ireland he’d have a lot of respect because he clearly rated you very highly. Do you miss him around Liverpool?” Kelleher was asked.
“Of course, obviously he was a big figure. Importantly for me he did take a shine to me and did think highly of me as well. He’s a big miss, I think everyone misses him, but there’s kind of exciting new beginnings as well,” Kelleher said.

Arne Slot is proving himself
Liverpool’s players, of course, all love Jurgen Klopp, but Arne Slot is proving himself well at Anfield.
Of course, it will be impossible for Slot to make his players forget completely about Klopp, but, at the moment, the Reds appear to be fully focused on the task at hand.
Yes, there’s always going to be some semblance of the squad missing Klopp. After all, he was a club legend and a father figure to many of these players, but, from the outside looking in, it looks like Slot has immediately commanded his own type of respect, and Liverpool are heading in the right direction.
