Can West Ham ace Felipe Anderson continue recent form?

West Ham were heavily beaten 4-0 at home by Manchester City in their last fixture, but the scoreline certainly didn’t reflect the match itself and the Premier League leaders are a class above.

The Hammers will be keen for a response and will get the chance to fight back on Saturday away to in-form Newcastle United at St James’ Park.

Rafael Benitez’s side have won their last three consecutive matches, but West Ham were beginning to pick up themselves before facing Manchester City.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side picked up five points across games wth Leicester, Huddersfield and Burnley to help climb the table.

Dazzling attacker Felipe Anderson was beginning to discover his best form before losing to Manchester City and it will intriguing to see if he can pick up where he left off.

Anderson scored twice in a thrilling win over Burnley, while he was also on target in the 1-1 draw against Huddersfield.

The 25-year-old Brazilian arrived at the London Stadium with a big reputation and hasn’t quite justified the £36million () price tag yet.

He is a left-winger with electric pace and trickery, but needs to increase his output in front of goal to help the Hammers.

Anderson has got his eye in during recent matches and getting on the scoresheet against Newcastle would be another great step in his progress.
