Can these three signings push Huddersfield Town into the top half?

This season has been a bit of a mixed bag for Huddersfield Town.

On the one hand, the appointment of gegenpressing guru David Wagner has revitalised the club’s fortunes on and off the pitch. In the space a few short months, the Terriers have gone from aimless long-ball merchants to purveyors of half-decent tiki-taka, earning praise from the terraces and opposition dugout in the process.

On the other, the team have managed to gegenpress their way to 19th position in the Championship, exactly where they were when Chris Powell was shown the door in November 2015, and their lowest finish since the 2012-2013 season.

With the board and management team getting their transfer business done nice and early—bringing in Rajiv van La Parra from Wolves, Michael Hefele from Dynamo Dresden, and Chris Löwe from Kaiserslautern—most fans are cautiously optimistic about a mid-table finish come next May.

Here are three potential signings that could help the club achieve that objective.
