Scott Arfield was one of several new arrivals at Rangers over the summer and he’s quietly gone about his business at Ibrox so far.
The Canadian has been involved in 21 games across all competitions so far this campaign, but had a few minor injury spells out along the way and could be viewed as a silent assassin.
He’s scored five goals and supplied four assists in all competitions, but been far from the limelight compared to the likes of Alfredo Morelos or Allan McGregor.
Arfield is an ever-present in Steven Gerrard’s starting XI and is the type of player that could come to the fore over the next month.
The Light Blues will be aiming to stay in the hunt at the top end of the league and also bid to qualify from their Europa League group.

Arfield provides a brilliant goalscoring option from midfield and is capable of playing in a more advanced number 10 role behind the striker.
He scored twice in the recent 7-1 mauling of Motherwell before the international break and will hope to hit a purple patch of form in front of goal when domestic football resumes again.
The 5ft 8in ace has the potential to be a real driving force on a weekly basis for Rangers and his time in the spotlight may be imminent.
