Can Marco Silva save transfer flop Sandro’s flailing Everton career?
Sandro Ramirez left Everton for a loan spell with Real Sociedad this summer after his move to Goodison Park last summer looked to have knocked all the confidence out of him.
The striker returned to the league where he performed so impressively enough for Malaga; to the extent that Ronald Koeman was persuaded to bring him to the club, but failed to replicate that form.
After just two starts, the Basque club are looking to cut short the loan agreement as it is not panning out as any of the parties involved had wanted.

Sandro was never going to replace the goals of Romelu Lukaku but he looked a useful backup option when he arrived and Everton are still in need of striking depth.
Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are not traditional number nines, while Cenk Tosun has struggled for goals this season so Silva would surely be glad of the alternative Sandro could provide.
The hitman knows where the goal is but needs his confidence rebuilt; which is where Silva comes in and it will require his powers of motivation to turn Sandro into a viable option.
It would be a huge transformation but with the feel-good factor he has generated around Goodison right now, would anyone put it past Silva?
