‘He can do everything’…Sky Sports pundit says Arsenal have an ‘outstanding footballer’ in their ranks right now
Arsenal lost ground in the title race this weekend as they lost to Aston Villa and Gabriel Jesus once again failed to threaten in front of goal.
The Brazilian forward was once again in decent enough form in the game but as has been the case so often in his career, Jesus failed to score or every really look like scoring.
The narrative around Jesus has been similar ever since he signed for Arsenal. The is a wide acceptance that he’s improved the Gunners but ultimately, they still lack a goal scorer.
However, Clinton Morrison has defended Jesus, insinuating that the Brazilian perhaps gets a bit too much criticism given how good he is for the team.

Speaking on , Morrison admitted that while Arsenal might need a new forward, Jesus remains a player who can do it all.
“Jesus is an outstanding footballer. He can do everything Gabriel Jesus. Is he going to be that guy to get you 20 or 25 goals? Who knows. But he does so much hard work outside the box. But, they do need that out and out striker who is going to stay in between the sticks and score goals,” Morrison .
Jesus a star but Arsenal need even more
Arsenal are definitely a top team when Gabriel Jesus plays. When he’s not in the XI, there is an obvious difference in how the Gunners function.
However, there are still question marks over his ability to get goals at the right sort of level that’s needed to really push a team towards titles.
There was a reason why Pep Guardiola let him go in the end and at times, you can see it with Jesus.
Arsenal face a big January really. Yes, they know Jesus is a class act and he makes them a top side.
But when it comes to goals, they might need someone to score the scrappy ones to get them over the line and those players cost money.
