‘Brilliant’ player has just publicly stated he does not want to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer

When it comes to player sales that is something which Tottenham Hotspur have not struggled with this summer.

However, signing players has been a completely different story for Ange Postecoglou‘s side with only Archie Gray a new face at Tottenham to start the new campaign with.

More players could come through the doors at Hotspur Way over the coming weeks ahead of the deadline at the end of the month.

But for that to happen, there could even be a need for more players to move on from north London.

One of those, who has been linked with an exit, has now commented on his future amid speculation he could be sold.

Tottenham player has said he will not leave Tottenham this summer

Tottenham have already seen nine players leave the club this summer with a variety of loan and permanent deals having been sanctioned.

But there is one player who is now stealing the headlines at Spurs with Richarlison‘s future hanging in the balance.

Tottenham are expecting to sell Richarlison this summer with interest coming from Saudi Arabia.

But the Brazilian has responded to the rumours as it will not good news for Spurs if they are hoping to bring in big money from Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to Brazilian outlet ESPN, Richarlison has now said he has bigger dreams than playing in the Saudi Pro League.

“The money is big but my dreams are bigger,” he said.

Big words from the Brazilian striker who has received some backlash from some Saudi fans over social media in recent days amid speculation of his possible arrival.

Richarlison could fund Dominic Solanke move

A move for Richarlison this summer would potentially see around the £60m recouped that Spurs spent on him last summer.

And that is around the type of money Spurs are going to need to sign Dominic Solanke over the coming weeks from Bournemouth.

Tottenham have opened talks with Bournemouth for Solanke who has a £65m release clause.

It is said Spurs are hoping to sign the striker before their season opener in just over a week’s time.

However, with Europa League football to compete with, Spurs will surely be needing to keep ahold of players like Richarlison to maintain their squad depth.

Rotation is going to be key to Tottenham’s success this season and swapping strikers one for one in the market is unlikely to make much of a difference for Postecoglou if he doesn’t have options off the bench.
