Brentford manager Thomas Frank shocked after hearing one stat about Arsenal
Brentford manager Thomas Frank was totally amazed after hearing a stat about Arsenal ahead of today’s game.
The Bees travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on Mikel Arteta‘s side this evening. It is a huge game for Arsenal, but they have been in incredible form recently, and their goalscoring record has shocked Frank.

Thomas Frank shocked after hearing one stat about Arsenal
Arsenal have been the most dominant team in the Premier League in 2024.
Mikel Arteta’s men went away for a short trip to Dubai during the winter break in January following three consecutive defeats in all competitions.
We don’t know what happened during that break, but since they returned, no team in the country has been as good as Arsenal.
The North Londoners have played seven and won seven, scoring 31 goals and conceding just three. Thomas Frank heard of their goalscoring stat in his press conference yesterday, and he was taken aback.
Speaking about Arsenal, he said, as relayed on : “I think form-wise, momentum, they are right up there. I think it’s clear Arsenal, Liverpool and City are ahead of the rest.
“Right now, maybe, Arsenal are performing to their absolutely maximum. I’ve stopped counting the goals they’ve scored. Some of you have probably got it…”
When a journalist said 31 goals in their last seven games, a shocked Frank replied: “How much? 31 in the last seven? That’s more than four per game, isn’t it? Ooh wow! That’s impressive.
“I guess we need to be pretty good to defend. 31, very impressive.”
Arsenal have to beat Brentford today
Arsenal go into this weekend third in the Premier League table, but they could come out of it on top.
A win today against Brentford will push Mikel Arteta’s side to the top of the table. They can sit back, put their feet up and watch Manchester City and Liverpool battle it out tomorrow.
That will be a great game to watch, and if the two sides end up drawing the game at Anfield, Arsenal will finish this game week as the leaders of the Premier League.
That would put Arteta exactly where he would want to be ahead of the business end of the season.
