Celtic are reportedly interested in luring Patrick Roberts back to Parkhead this summer and Hoops supporters will be delighted if Brendan Rodgers’ previous Davis Silva comparison about the attacker rings true.
that Celtic have seen a £3million offer to sign 23-year-old Roberts rejected this week, but the offer has been left on the table incase Manchester City choose to reverse their decision. Roberts is completely surplus to requirements.

During his best form at Celtic, which was when he was aged just 21 or less, Roberts was unplayable. An average of a goal every three games and more or less a goal every four. Impressive stats given he only started 51 of his 78 outings.
City have rejected the initial offer but Roberts is worth far more than that – and Celtic will know that too. Anything up to £10million, and the Scottish champions will have secured themselves a bargain – especially if Rodgers’ previous claim is true.
