‘Boom’, ‘very good’: Some Everton fans react as Fabrizio Romano shares Goodison ‘here-we-go’
Some Everton fans have welcomed Fabrizio Romano’s update on Twitter claiming the Toffees have signed Asmir Begovic.
reported on Friday that Everton had begun talks with Bournemouth over the goalkeeper’s signing.

Begovic would sign on a two-year deal, and provide competition for Everton first-choice and England international Jordan Pickford, they said.
Romano claimed on Saturday that the 34-year-old has completed a medical and is set to be unveiled soon on a two-year deal.
Here is what some Everton fans said in response – mostly positive reaction:

Nothing to happy about and nothing to be sad about. He's okay for cup games I guess, hopefully Pickford doesn't get injured

Begovic joined Bournemouth in 2017 for an undisclosed fee, and was one of their key players before their relegation in 2020.
He has clocked up over 250 Premier League appearances appearances while playing for Bournemouth, Stoke, Chelsea and Portsmouth.
Begovic has one year remaining on his contract, but claims the Championship club may consider letting him go for free.
