Bolasie’s desire to remain in the Premier League opens door for Everton stay
Yannick Bolasie wants to be playing in the Premier League next season,
Bolasie spent the first half of the season on loan at Aston Villa before moving to Anderlecht last month after cutting short his spell at Villa Park.
But the former Crystal Palace midfielder has been talking about his plans for next season and although he has no concrete ideas, he wants to remain in the English top flight.
When asked if he intended to remain at Anderlecht beyond the end of the current campaig, Bolasie : “No idea, I still have a two-year contract with Everton. I see myself as a player for the Premier League. My family is having a good time and I enjoy it. I do not know the rest.”

Bolasie does not appear to fit in that well with Marco Silva’s plans, but the fact he brought up his contract with Everton alongside his desire to remain in the Premier League leaves the door open to him remaining at Goodison Park next term.
With the likes of Theo Walcott struggling this season, Everton are in need of improvement out wide – but it would still be quite the surprise if Bolasie managed to salvage his Toffees career, even if he has refused to rule it out yet.
