Big Junior Firpo update from Leeds U23s game on Friday – some fans react
A number of Leeds United fans are optimistic that Junior Firpo will now make the Whites team for Sunday’s Premier League encounter.
The 25-year-old has missed the last three fixtures due to a muscle issue, but he’s expected to be back in the squad against Norwich.

Firpo was named in the Leeds Under-23s squad for Friday’s Premier League 2 home meeting with Arsenal tonight.
He was expected to get 45 minutes under his belt, but Whites U23s boss Mark Jackson took him off in the 31st minute.
Yorkshire Evening Post reported Joe Urquhart shared the update on Firpo, who was replaced by Leo Hjelde:
And some Leeds fans believe this is a good sign that he’ll feature on Sunday:
That'll annoy all the armchair managers kicking off an hour ago saying Firpo obviously not playing Sunday then!!!

Firpo joined Leeds in July from Barcelona in a deal reportedly worth £12.8million.
The left-back, who came in as Ezgjan Alioski’s replacement, has made eight senior appearances for the Elland Road outfit.
Although Firpo has struggled for Leeds at times, Bielsa is optimistic the summer signing will come good and develop into a top player.

quotes Bielsa as saying about Firpo in late September: “With regards to his evolution in the team, I think he hasn’t been able to play a 7-point performance, but he hasn’t also played below a 6-performance.
“He has had a regular performance and he’s grown, but below what he’s capable of doing.”
“When Junior manages to have the rhythm the Premier League imposes on you, he’s going to be a full-back that shines a lot because he has all the physical and technical resources to generate moments of very good football.”
