Paolo Di Canio has fired shots at Juventus star and reported Tottenham Hotspur target Paulo Dybala.

The Argentine has entered the final few months of his contract and revealed recently that the 28-year-old has decided to walk away as a free agent in the summer.

A number of clubs will surely be interested in Dybala’s services and no other side in the Premier League has been linked with a move for the Juventus man as much as Tottenham.

However, Di Canio’s comments may cause a few concerns in the Spurs camp.

Paolo Di Canio: Tottenham-linked Dybala is a big cry baby

The 53-year-old Italian, who was a hero at West Ham United back in the day, spent a few years in Turin too. He follows Juventus regularly and has had a go at Dybala now.

Di Canio said this week, as per : “He cannot live for what he did in the past.

“It is true that he could become a technical leader, but I cannot have an emotionally fragile one.

“If things go well, he plays games for you. If things go wrong, I define him almost as a big cry baby.”

Reports revealed recently that Tottenham are stepping up their interest in Dybala, who will be available to sign for free in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Di Canio’s comments really are concerning. The last thing Tottenham need is another player who doesn’t step up in big games, but Dybala has proved over the years that he is a top-quality player.

To add to that, Spurs chief Fabio Paratici knows the 28-year-old really well thanks to their time together in Turin and if he believes Dybala is a good fit, Tottenham fans should trust him.

It will be interesting to see where Dybala will end up if he does leave Juventus this summer.
