‘Big boost’ – Celtic manager Neil Lennon on Scott Sinclair’s future amid Middlesbrough rumours
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has confirmed Scott Sinclair will remain at Celtic for another year, .
Sinclair has been linked with a return to England but Lennon believes Sinclair’s future lies at Celtic Park. The Bhoys have triggered a one-year extension on the ex-England U21 midfielder’s contract ().

Celtic signed Sinclair in 2016 after he enjoyed spells with Aston Villa, Manchester City, Swansea City and many others.
In three seasons in Glasgow, the English winger has scored 60 goals and racked up over 150 appearances in hoops. Although his form has dipped this season, Celtic fans still feel Sinclair has an important role to play in the squad.
Operating as a starter or as an impact substitute, Sinclair could still reach 20 goals for the season, which would be a decent return.
Sinclair is wanted back in England, though. , Middlesbrough are eyeing considering a £2m summer move for the 30-year-old.
But Lennon’s comments indicate that Sinclair’s future lies at Celtic; for one more year, at least.
