‘Better than prime Kane’: Some Spurs fans wowed by 20-year-old’s U23s display on Friday

He also has a further two assists from three Papa John’s Trophy appearances in 2020-21.

In October, former Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo handed Markanday his senior debut against Vitesse in the Europa Conference League.

And earlier this month, the attacking ace won the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for October.

Needless to say, Markanday has definitely staked a claim for a potential run in the first team.
