‘Better than Pepe’: ‘up front under Conte’: Some Spurs fans wowed by one player’s U23s display
A number of Spurs fans have waxed lyrical about Dilan Markanday after the Tottenham academy star netted once again for the Under-23s.
The 20-year-old is one of the most highly rated young players at Hotspur Way.
He now has a staggering 10 goals and two assists from just 10 Premier League 2 appearances this term.

On Friday night, Markanday was in action for Spurs U23s against Brighton, helping his side come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw.
Tottenham fell behind after just four minutes as Jack Spong netted a free kick from just outside the box.
However, Markanday struck back early in the second half, and Spurs weighed in with a number of efforts thereafter.
Although Tottenham couldn’t kick on and earn all three points, Markanday once again emerged with plenty of credit.
Here is what some Spurs fans have been saying on social media:
Bergwijn has 4 goals in 60 games. If Markanday plays 60 games, he scores more no question.
