‘Better than Abraham’ – Everton fans respond to Carlo Ancelotti’s praise of Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Everton boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has praised the efforts of striker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, giving the forward glowing praise ahead of the Toffees’ game with Tottenham on Monday.
The former Sheffield United striker has scored eight times for Ancelotti this season. Those goals, as well as his increasingly consistent performances leading the line, have seen the youngster earn glowing praise from a number of fans and pundits throughout the season.
And Ancelotti, speaking to , admitted he has ‘never had a striker with this kind of energy defensively’ while commenting that he ‘appreciates’ the efforts of Calvert-Lewin.
Everton fans, then, seemed to have their say on their manager’s comments. Despite not being a prolific goalscorer, it appears Toffees supporters are indeed loving what they’re seeing from their man.
