Besiktas reportedly want £2.5m Everton man; player-plus-cash deal makes sense
Unsurprisingly, Besiktas are being linked with a move to sign Everton outcast Cenk Tosun. The Turkish striker has constantly been linked with a return now, he might be ideal in a player-plus-cash deal.
Tosun, 30, remains on the fringes at Everton. He has played just once in the Premier League after a long-term knee injury, remaining an unused substitute in the five other league games in which he has made the squad.
Just 11 goals in 59 appearances for Everton is proof that his £27million move from Besiktas was a failure. So does that Besiktas want to re-sign him in January, for a bargain £2.5million.
The 45-time international is out of contract in June, and Everton will be relieved to get some cash for him. But could they use Besiktasinterest to their advantage, to sign a target of their own?

Everton should use Tosun in player-plus-cash deal to sign Larin/h2>
Earlier this week, that Everton are keen on signing Cyle Larin. The 44-time Canada international was excellent for Besiktas last season, netting an impressive 23 goals.
This season, he has only netted six in 18 but the ex-Orlando City man has only completed 90 minutes in five of those 18 games. He, like Tosun, is out of contract at the end of the season. But at 26, he will cost more than Tosun.
That is, if Everton wanted a January move. They certainly need better competition for Dom Calvert-Lewin with Salomon Rondon struggling and Richarlison better from out wide.
West Ham, Brighton, Southampton and Marseille also want Larin, as per the report. But surely Everton would convince Besiktas to sell to them, by using Tosun as a trump card in a player-plus-cash deal in January?
