Benfica reportedly ready to swoop for Liverpool 26-year-old
Benfica are reportedly ready to move for Liverpool’s Alberto Moreno.
that the Primeira Liga leaders are preparing for life after Alex Grimaldo, who is expected to leave for a bigger club this summer.
Moreno is well out of favour at Anfield and has been for some time.

The club’s acquisition of Andy Robertson from Hull City in 2017 has proven to be a significant moment in the player’s Reds career.
The Scotland international has been in inspired form since breaking into the side properly a few months after joining, leaving Moreno to warm the bench.
The Spaniard has not been offered a new contract by the club and is free to leave on expiry of his current deal this summer.
TBR’s view
Robertson’s outstanding form has made life extremely difficult for Moreno over the past couple of years.
That said, Moreno has done little to convince when given a rare chance by Jurgen Klopp.

The former Sevilla defender, who cost £12 million in 2014 (), is somewhat weak defensively and the club are right not to offer him a new deal.
He has served the club fairly well, making 141 appearances in total, but it is surely time for the club to upgrade this summer.
