Ben Foster comments on his future amid Tottenham interest reports
Ben Foster that a report linking him with a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur is just paper talk, but admitted that he is yet to be offered a new contract at Watford.
that Tottenham were interested in Foster. It was suggested that Jose Mourinho was keen on bringing the 36-year-old in as Hugo Lloris’s backup.

that Spurs may face a tough task trying to convince Foster to come in as a number two having been first choice throughout his career since leaving Manchester United.
The former England international has insisted that he has not spoken to any other club about his future. But he did concede that he is also somewhat in the dark about his future at Vicarage Road.

“That’s complete paper talk,” when asked about the links with Tottenham.
“But, I am out of contract in the summer.
“There’s been nothing yet [a new contract offer from Watford] but it’s not something I’m really thinking about too much.”
TBR View – Foster leaving Watford would be surprise
It would arguably not be a huge surprise to see Watford offer Foster – who currently earns £30,000-a-week, – fresh terms. He has been excellent since moving from West Bromwich Albion. And he could arguably continue at the highest level for some time to come.
Of course, Foster may be tempted by a potential switch to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. He may want to take a risk in the hope that he gets a chance to play regularly, whether due to injury or form.
With Spurs usually battling on four fronts each season, there are surely likely to be opportunities.
But at this stage of his career, he may be reluctant to take that gamble as it is still more than likely that he would rarely feature for Mourinho’s men.
