Ben Davies says £22m Tottenham teammate is actually the godfather of his son
Ben Davies has now revealed that he is seriously close with one of his Tottenham teammates.
The 30-year-old made the comments while appearing on The Gab & Juls Show.
Tottenham’s No.33 has been busy speaking to several media outlets during the international break, having also told ESPN that he initially questioned whether he made the right decision joining Spurs.
Now, the Welshman has revealed that one of his Tottenham teammates is among his closest friends, and is even the godfather of his son.

Well, the Wales international revealed that Heung-min Son is one of his best pals, and is also the godfather to his son.
Davies Gabriele Marcotti and Julien Laurens: “Sonny is one of my best friends. We’ve played together for ages. He’s the godfather of my son.”
Everybody knows Son is one of the nicest people in football, although it truly speaks volumes about his character that the man from Neath has entrusted the South Korea international to be the godfather of his son.
Clearly, the Tottenham No.7 is someone his teammates feel can be relied on – both on the pitch and away from it.

Davies and Son have been in N17 together for many years now, so their close relationship comes as no surprise.
In fact, only Harry Kane has shared a pitch with the Welshman more than the South Korean.
Davies has made appearances alongside Son – with the pair combining for two goals in that time while averaging 1.86 points per game.
The duo have enjoyed several highs together – including that memorable run to the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League final – and plenty of lows amidst the dark days under Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte.
Nevertheless, Son and Davies are now in a far more positive environment with Ange Postecoglou at the helm, which will surely only grow their friendship to be stronger.
