Ben Davies now shares what Ange Postecoglou did at half-time in Tottenham vs Newcastle yesterday
Following yesterday’s important win, Ben Davies has now shared what Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou did at half-time.
Delighted with the win, Davies was speaking to immediately after the game.

And his comments are particularly pertinent given Spurs headed into the dressing room 2-0 up at half-time.
It’s well documented how many leads the side have surrendered of late, and therefore things could have been a bit nervy.
Similarly, Postecoglou may have delivered a staunch reminder of each player’s responsibility heading into the second half.
Instead, Davies shared how calm and quiet Postecoglou remained, something that clearly had a positive effect on the Tottenham players.
: “He didn’t say too much.
“We have lost a couple of games now but we didn’t feel the performances have been too bad, we have lacked maybe a bit of cutting edge in front of goal but we have had a lot of chances in the last few games and today was just one of those days where things seemed to click.”
And despite some disappointing defeats of late, Spurs do look like a club in unison, one with a clear direction.
Ben Davies says Ange Postecoglou remained quiet at half-time in timely Tottenham win
The phrase ‘trust the process’ is often thrown around, especially when things aren’t going well.
But that’s exactly the message Postecoglou has clearly been delivering to Davies and this Tottenham squad.

The level of Spurs’ attacking performances have been quite extraordinary at times, something that has always shown promise under Postecoglou.
But with a few integral faces returning to the spine of the team, namely Pape Matar Sarr and Cristian Romero, things now look more assured at the back too.
Ben Davies is doing an understated job, a fantastic squad player for Postecoglou to have at Tottenham.
Things are certainly on the up, and if Tottenham maintain these level of performances, they could quickly be mentioned in the title race once again.
Liverpool are only 7 points ahead and all teams will drop points given the level of competition in the league.
And it seems as if Tottenham could also be boosted by the arrival of one excellent £40m defender in January.
