‘Beautiful’: Some Villa fans are obsessed with official Twitter post as ‘perfect’ player arrives
Aston Villa supporters have finally got a glimpse of what Emi Buendia will look like in his new club colours.
The Midlands club an image of the 24-year-old winger kitted out in Villa training gear as the former Norwich City star finally arrived for pre-season.
Villa confirmed the signing of Buendia well over a month ago. And now, the South American star has officially landed at his new club for this summer’s pre-season.
As per the photo, Buendia has taken the number 20 kit. The last player to wear that shirt was Ross Barkley during his loan spell with the club last season.
Indeed, Villa’s transfer business this summer is far from over. The club still continue to be linked with Emile Smith Rowe, whilst various backup roles in the squad need to be filled in over the upcoming weeks.
Yet Buendia was an excellent start to this window’s summer spending. And for fans on social media, they were buzzing that the Argentine winger was finally at the club and in pre-season training.
