BBC pundit says Tottenham player with ‘so much ability’ has to improve now
Clinton Morrison has suggested that Brennan Johnson has to improve his form at Tottenham having joined the north London side from Nottingham Forest.
The 22-year-old Wales international made the move to the English capital this summer with Johnson one of the first players Ange Postecoglou has brought in during this new era of Tottenham’s history.
Yet despite some sparks of creativity and attacking quality, Johnson’s time with Spurs has so far been a disappointment, with the winger managing just one goal and four assists in 20 appearances.

And , pundit Morrison has urged Johnson to turn his form around, with the Tottenham attacker clearly good enough to star in the Premier League.
As we know, Johnson was one of Forest’s best players last season and last summer won a move to Tottenham on merit, and it’s time now for the attacker to show what he’s capable of in north London.
Morrison said: “He hasn’t hit that form that he showed at Nottingham Forest. He just needs that goal, you look at him and you think he’s just got so much pace, so much ability, just needs a few more goals.”
Brennan Johnson has to show Tottenham his true qualities

Johnson is clearly a talented youngster who can have a massive future in the Premier League if he can get out of this current run of bad form.
One goal in all competitions is a poor return from a player who last season hit double figures for Forest, with Johnson more than capable of becoming a talismanic attacker for a top English side.
And the 22-year-old needs to start showing this for Tottenham, especially with the north London side clearly putting a lot of faith and trust in Johnson to deliver this season.
