BBC pundit says Leeds United have a ‘pivotal’ player who ‘epitomises what they’re all about’

Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas has been praised by BBC Sport pundit ⭕Lucy Ward, who named the Whites man as her third choice for Premier League player of the year.

Since joining from Brentford in 2015, Dallas has made 229 🌠competitive appearances for Leeds, scoring 27 goals and claiming 17 assists.

This season, the 30-year-old has made 37 appearances, all in the Premier League, and has registered eight꧋ 🎃goals and two assists.

In addition to his talent and workrate, Dallas is also an incredibly versatile footballer who has played on b𒀰oth flanks in attack and defence, as well as all over the midfiel𒁃d.

The Northern Irishman was especially outstanding against Manchester♛ City, playing in midfield and scoring a brace for 10-man Leeds en route🅺 to a shock 2-1 win at the Etihad Stadium.

Although Ward opted for Manchester City’s Ruben Dias as top choice and West Ham’s Tomas Soucek as second, Dallas got an ho𒁃nourable mention.

“My third choice would be Stuart Dallas because of how ﷽well Leeds have done this season and how pivotal🦩 he is to what they have done,” she said.

“They h♏𓄧ave been the surprise package, and he epitomises what they are all about.”

Dallas has been an amazing servant for Leeds over ൩the years, clocking up over 200 competitive appearances and starring for Marcelo Bielsa’s side at the highest level.

The Whites have exceede⛦d expectations this season and, with lieutenants like Dallas in the ranks, they can kick on next season without a doubt.
