‘Spectacular’: BBC pundit lauds Leeds player who had ‘360 vision’ against Arsenal today
Leeds might have lost to Arsenal today but the was full of praise for Spanish forward Rodrigo in the opening 45 minutes.
Rodrigo was among a number of Leeds players causing trouble for Arsenal in the first half. The Spaniard looked to be on form and seemed to be getting into the swing of things before being taken off by Jesse Marsch at the break.

However, while he was only on the field for 45 minutes, BBC pundit Pat Nevin lauded Rodrigo for his vision and passing.
“Leeds are a joy to watch when they attack, such skills in their play and also their willingness to work hard. They’ve all done well in that front four but Rodrigo in particular has spectacular vision. He just seems to have that 360 vision and understand where everyone is. He plays the correct pass”, Nevin said of .
Rodrigo has been in decent form for Leeds this season but he’ll have been disappointed to have been subbed. Of course, there might be an underlying issue we aren’t fully aware of yet, but he was still doing well.
Leeds were unfortunate not to take something from the game, and the final minutes were shrouded in controversy as Gabriel avoided a red card and giving a penalty away in one swoop.
TBR’s View: Rodrigo Unlucky With Leeds Today
The Whites were unlucky not to get something out of this game, and on another day they’d have picked up some points here.
Rodrigo did impress in that opening half and he’ll be annoyed at having had to leave the field when things were going well.
It was an enthralling game today at Elland Road and Leeds caused Arsenal more problems than most sides have all season.
