Certainly, van Bronckhorst had no intention of letting his players ease up even when they had one hand on the trophy.

Of course, Sakala had less of an excuse not to press. He had been on the pitch for a matter of minutes. So he should have had more in the tank than most.
Rangers fans will love van Bronckhorst setting those kind of standards. That suggests that he will allow the side to enjoy their achievements this season. But he will quickly want the squad to turn their attention to next year.
It has been a brilliant campaign for Rangers. Reaching the Europa League is a monumental achievement. And only a penalty shootout could deny them immortality in Sevilla.
The Scottish Cup win is a fantastic prize. But there is now a lot more to achieve.
