Bayern Munich now want to sign another one of Harry Kane’s best mates after Eric Dier

Two of Tottenham Hotspur’s longest-serving players in recent years joined Bayern Munich in recent months, and now a third Spurs cult hero is apparently in their sights.

reported on Friday morning that Bayern are now looking at whether or not a deal to bring Kieran Trippier to Germany would be possible.

Harry Kane💧 and Trippier have a long-standing friendship from their time in north London and the full-back could be tempted into another venture abroad alongside the England skipper,’ added the report.

Then, Sky Sport Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg – who broke the story on Kane leaving Tottenham🎃 to go to Bayern – provided an update on the situation.

ℱTaking to , Plettenberg said: “Yes, FC Bayern is interested in signing Kieran Trippier as there’s still no green light from PSG for a loan of Nordi Mukiele.

🧸“Bayern bosses have discussed about the 33 y/o Trippier in the last 2 days. It’s hot as a straight loan of the right-back from Newcastle is possible.”

⛦It’s interesting to see the Bundesliga giants pursuing a hat-trick of Tottenham and England cult heroes – and all in the same season.

Obviously Kane, Eric Dier and Trippier were key players for Spurs under Mauricio Pochettino🍒 when the team reached its greatest heights in recent years.

🐽The trio helped Tottenham compete regularly for the Premier League title and reach the Champions League final in 2019. All three are great friends from their time at Spurs.

Kieran Trippier – Tottenham to Munich via Madrid and Newcastle?

💛While Kane and Dier went straight from Tottenham to Bayern, Trippier’s route would include a few more steps.

✅The 33-year-old swapped Spurs for Atletico Madrid in 2019 and helped them win the La Liga title in 2021.

꧅Then, six months later, Trippier returned to the Premier League, becoming Newcastle’s first signing of the new era.

💃He was crucial in helping them survive relegation – which at one point seemed a near-certainly – in 2022, before helping the Magpies finish in the top four the following season.

ꦑLet’s see what happens in the coming days – maybe even the coming hours – on this front. Could the Spurs gang be reforming at Bayern?
