Bayern Munich now want to sign £50m attacker who’s expected to sign for Arsenal this summer

The summer transfer window really isn’t all that far away.

꧒Indeed, we’re into the business end of the season, and wh♊ile there’s still plenty to play for on the pitch, clubs are starting to plan for their summer transfer business.

One team who has a big summer ahead of them is Arsenal.

Indeed, Arsenal need a few big signings this su✃mmer as they look to push to end their Premier League title drought.

Arsenal want a new striker in the summer, and Alexander Isak is a dream target.

However, it’s not ju𒐪st 🅷a new striker that Arsenal are after.

Arsenal are also in for a new midfielder – Ma𝔉rtin Zubimendi has agreed personal terms with Arsenal and a move in the summer looks likely.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are also in for a new winger.

Rafael Leao has been linked to Arsenal, while Nico Williams is expected to join Arsenal this summer according to some reports.

Williams to Arsenal is apparently advanced, but, as ever, a deaﷺl isn’t done until a contract is signed, and now, a spanner has been thrown into the works.

Bayern Munich want Nico Williams

According toꦺ Christian Falk, Bayern Munich are keen to sign Nico Wil▨liams from Athletic Club this summer.

The German giants are in the market for a new winger this summer, and, interestingly Leroy Sane has been linked to Ars🍌enal.

Falk also noted that Arsenal are still༺ in talks with Williams, but, as ever, Bayern Muni༺ch’s presence here could complicate things.

Of course, t🐻his isn’t the first time Bayern and Arsenal♕ have gone head to head over a signing of this calibre.

Bayern Munich wanted Declan Rice before his move to Arsenal, while Arsenal wanted Joao Palhinha before his move to Bavaria.

Nico Williams stats this season

Wiliams is a man in demand in the upcoming summer transfer window, as big clubs are courting the Spanish wing♐er.

Williams had an incredible Euro 2024, but this s�🍎�eason, his performances haven’t quite been at the same level.

Indeed, Williams has been way off his best this season, scoring just fou🏅r go🅘als all year long.

Arsenal have 🔯been keen on Williams for a long time, but, when you consider his form this season so 🐬far, it’s hard to say that the Gunners would be devastated if Williams picked Bayern Munich over Arsenal.

There are plenty more fish in the sea for Arsenal this summer, and spending £50m on a player who 🌺has only scored four goals all season long isn’t necessarily the best move the Gunners could make in any case.

🅷Williams is certainly a player to keep an eye on in this summer transfer window.
