Bayern Munich may not be the only club seriously jealous of Tottenham after what’s happened today
Tottenham Hotspur beating Bayern Munich to the signing of Radu Dragusin feels like a landmark moment, Ange Postecoglou has inspired a new era.
There seems no way that Dragusin would choose Tottenham over Bayern this time last year – the club wasn’t appealing in the slightest.

However, with Postecoglou at the helm, Spurs are an exciting and forward-thinking club once again.
That being said, it might not just be Bayern Munich that are jealous of Tottenham following their deal for Dragusin today.
In the past couple of years, Spurs have made a habit of picking up players directly or indirectly from Italian side Juventus.
Radu Dragusin was with the club before joining Genoa, as was a host of other names.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski moved directly from Juventus – players now thriving in the Premier League.
And when you consider that Juventus still aren’t quite the force of yesteryear, they may now regret some of those departures.
The three names mentioned must surely be able to benefit the Italian club, and their progress may cause a bit of jealousy.
Juventus might be just as jealous as Bayern watching Radu Dragusin sign for Tottenham
It does now feel as if those three former Juvetnus players could be pillars of Postecoglou’s project in the next few years.
Although many imagine that Dragusin will be Cristian Romero’s back up, it wouldn’t be too surprising if he stole his spot.

Despite his world-class talent, Romero’s discipline has always been a cause for concern – something that hasn’t changed this season.
And with 21-year-old Dragusin showing a ton of potential, Postecoglou may be tempted to hand him a permanent spot.
The Tottenham manager must have made Dragusin certain promises to tempt him away from Bayern, and game time must have been discussed.
There seems little chance that Spurs will suddenly deploy a back three, meaning Dragusin could unsettle the back line.
It’s the classic ‘positive problem’ for Postecoglou, and it’s one he’ll welcome.
The manager has too often been forced to deploy his players out of position this season – something that should now be in the past.
Looking ahead to the rest of January, Spurs have actually been linked with another Juventus star.
