Bayer Leverkusen send three-word message to Liverpool after signing Florian Wirtz as two B04 players react to his move

Liverpool have completed the signing of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a club record fee.

As TBR Football revealed last month, Liverpool were prepared to break the British record for Wirtz, and the deal has the potential to do just that.

Liverpool have signed Wirtz for an initial £100million and a further £16million in add-ons, as reported by .

Should those add-ons be achieved, Wirtz’s move would become a British transfer record, currently held by Chelsea when they paid £107million to Benfica for Enzo Fernandez in 2023.

The Germany international has penned a five-year deal which sees him contracted to the Anfield outfit until the summer of 2030.

Liverpool have gone big on social media, and Leverkusen sent a three-word message to the Reds as two of Wirtz’s ex-teammates reacted to his move.
