Whilst Barcelona have a historic link with the Dutch giants, in recent times Tottenham have done plenty of business with Ajax.

Jan Vertonghen joined Spurs from the Amsterdam ArenA in 2012 and one year later Christian Eriksen followed him.

Last summer, Tottenham broke their transfer record to sign Davinson Sanchez from Ajax. While plenty of teams across Europe seem to struggle with the idea of doing business with notoriously difficult Daniel Levy, Ajax have been more than willing down the years at the right price.
