Barcelona have now got everything in place to sign ‘world-class’ £50m player Liverpool want

Liverpool have already been dealt one blow this summer by losing out on Leny Yoro to Manchester United and now Barcelona could inflict another one.

The Reds are wanting to bring in some new players this summer but despite Arne Slot, Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards being in place, things are moving slowly it seems.

The decision to not go for Leny Yoro and let Manchester United sign him has not gone down well.

Signing a defender has been seen as key for Liverpool but also, there’s an expectation that a new attacking player will be brought in as well.

But now, it looks like another potential signing in those attacking positions could be about to pass up on the chance to sign for the Reds as well.

Williams has a release-clause around the £50m and given the current market value of certain players, he’s seen as a home run to a number of clubs.

Of course, Williams is a wanted man in England and has big clubs on his tail.

Liverpool are reportedly one of the clubs keen on Williams, with the Reds apparently keen on entering the race for the winger.

Further, Arsenal have a strong interest in Williams as well, while even Newcastle United are thought to have made their interest in Williams known as well.

However, it now looks like Barcelona are ready to beat everyone in the race and land one of the most in-demand players on the planet.
