‘Awkward’: Lee Tomlin ridicules Leeds fan on Twitter after his outrageous assist
Cardiff City midfielder on Twitter after the dramatic 3-3 draw.
Tomlin played a major role in Cardiff’s sensational comeback against Leeds. He scored their first to make it 3-1, giving Cardiff hope of a comeback. Then, he produced a sensational piece of skill to level things up.
The 30-year-old jumped into the air and placed an outrageous backheel volley over the Leeds defence. Robert Glatzel ran onto the pass and slotted past Kiko Casilla to make it 3-3 late on. It completed an excellent comeback draw against high-flying Leeds, which was especially impressive considering they finished the game with 10 men.

After the match, Tomlin was active on social media. He responded to a few video clips of his assist. But he also found a tweet from a Leeds fan criticising Tomlin earlier in the game.
When Leeds were leading, Twitter user @lufc_dan said: “Funniest part of this game is watching Lee Tomlin try to press our defenders.”
